Terms and conditions
Version 2026-10-14 · Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by Blackstone Automotive (BLACKSTONE AUTO GROUP, ABN 54 663 008 946), 15/260-276 Abbotts Rd, Dandenong South VIC 3175. By using the website you agree to them. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Information on this website
Information on this website — including our articles and FAQs — is general information only. It isn't legal, financial or insurance advice, and it doesn't take your circumstances, policy or the insurers' decisions into account. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, and we review legal and regulatory references periodically.
Enquiries and booking requests are not contracts
- An accident enquiry is a request for us to contact you. It isn't an insurance claim, an authority to repair or a contract.
- A service booking is a request. It isn't confirmed until our team confirms an available time with you.
- We'll only carry out work after you've approved it in writing. If we find additional work is needed, we'll explain it and ask for your approval before doing it.
Insurance claims
We're a repair workshop. We're not an insurer, a law firm or a financial adviser. We don't decide who was at fault and we can't approve or guarantee an insurance claim. Whether a claim is accepted, what is covered and who pays are decided by the insurers involved under the relevant policies and the circumstances of the accident.
Towing and replacement vehicles
Accident towing in metropolitan Melbourne is regulated under Victoria's accident towing laws and carried out by licensed operators. We don't attend accident scenes to seek repair work. Any replacement vehicle is provided under a separate agreement with its own terms — read it before you sign. Victorian accident towing laws give you particular rights in relation to some repair agreements made after an accident tow.
Repairs, parts and notices
Repairs may use new, genuine, aftermarket or recycled parts depending on availability and, for insurance repairs, the insurer's authorisation; we'll tell you what's being used. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
Your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that services will be provided with due care and skill, be fit for the purpose you've told us about, and be supplied within a reasonable time. If there's a problem with our work, please contact us so we can put it right. See our cancellation and refund policy.
Using the website properly
Don't misuse the website — for example by submitting false information, attempting to gain unauthorised access, uploading files that aren't genuine photos of vehicle damage, or interfering with its operation. We may block submissions that appear automated or abusive.
Photos you upload
You confirm you're entitled to share any photos you upload and that they don't include other people's personal information unnecessarily. You allow us to use them to respond to your enquiry and carry out any repair.
