BLACKSTONE

The way every job runs

  1. Step 1: Listen

Start with what happened and what you need, before talking about repairs.

  2. Step 2: Explain

Tell you what we know, what we don't, and which decisions belong to someone else.

  3. Step 3: Approve

Agree the work with you in writing before it starts, and ask before anything extra.

  4. Step 4: Return

Check the work, explain it, and hand the car back with any paperwork you need.

What we are, and aren't

We're a repair workshop. We repair accident damage, service and repair vehicles, and help with the practical steps around a repair. We're not an insurer, a law firm, a financial adviser or a towing operator, and we don't claim insurer approvals or accreditations we haven't been granted.

Where a service needs a licence — such as roadworthy certificates or air-conditioning refrigerant work — we only offer it once the licence is in place. See mechanical services for what's currently available.

How we write our guides

Each guide lists the government, regulator and consumer-organisation sources it relies on, and shows when its facts were last reviewed. Guides are general information, not legal, financial or insurance advice. If something looks out of date, tell us.

We draft guides with the help of AI writing tools, then check every fact against the listed sources. Ahsan Ahmadani reviews each guide before it's published. We only write about what a repair and service workshop deals with day to day, so questions that need a lawyer or a financial adviser are left to the organisations that cover them. Cover images are illustrative scenes, labelled as such.

About the images on this site

The photographs and films on this website are AI-generated illustrations made for Blackstone Automotive. They show the kinds of work we do, not our premises, staff, customers or their vehicles. Each one is labelled as an illustrative scene.
