What you can book

Choose the closest match when you book. If you're not sure what's wrong, pick Mechanical repair or diagnosis and describe the problem.

How we work on your car

  • We confirm the job and your concerns before starting.
  • Anything outside the booked work is explained and approved by you first.
  • You're told what was done when you collect the car.

How servicing works

Your car's manufacturer sets its service schedule by time and distance, whichever comes first. A minor service focuses on the regular consumables: engine oil and filter, a battery test, and checks of brakes, tyres, lights, wipers, steering and suspension. A major service adds items due less often, such as filters, spark plugs and fluid replacements, depending on the schedule.

Keep the paperwork from every service. The ACCC explains that a new-car warranty may require servicing to the manufacturer's specification, and an itemised invoice with a logbook record is the easiest way to show that was done. Our guide to how often to service your car covers the details.

Common questions

Is my online service booking confirmed straight away?

No — it's a booking request. You'll receive a reference number when it's sent, and our team will contact you to confirm an available time. Your booking is confirmed only when we've confirmed it with you.

Will servicing my car outside the dealer affect the warranty?

The ACCC says you don't have to have your new car serviced by the dealer to keep the manufacturer's warranty, provided the servicing is done properly and to the manufacturer's specifications. Keep your service records and receipts.

Will you do extra work without asking?

No. If we find something outside the work you booked, we'll contact you, explain it and ask before doing it.
