Cancellation and refund policy
Version 2026-10-14 · Last updated 14 October 2026
This policy explains how cancellations, changes and refunds work. It doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancelling or changing a booking request
We don't take payments through this website. A booking request isn't confirmed until we confirm it with you. If you need to cancel or change a request or a confirmed booking, please let us know as early as you can — email admin@subhanptyltd.com.au, phone 03 9022 1221, write to us at 15/260-276 Abbotts Rd, Dandenong South VIC 3175, or use our contact page.
Repairs and quotes
Repair work only starts once you've approved it in writing. If you decide not to go ahead after receiving a quote, tell us. If work has already been carried out with your approval, that work may still be payable.
After an accident tow, Victorian accident towing laws give you particular rights to cancel some repair agreements within a short period. Ask us, or see the Department of Transport and Planning's towing information, if you're unsure.
Problems with our work: your consumer guarantees
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Services must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for any purpose you made known to us, and be supplied within a reasonable time.
- Minor problem: we'll fix it within a reasonable time, at no extra charge to you. If we don't, you may be able to get someone else to fix it and recover reasonable costs, or cancel and get a refund for the unused portion.
- Major problem: you can choose to cancel and get a refund for the unused portion, or ask for compensation for the drop in value.
You may also be entitled to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Consumer Affairs Victoria and the ACCC explain these rights in detail.
How to raise a problem
Contact us with your reference or invoice details and a description of the problem. We'll respond promptly and work with you to resolve it. If we can't agree, Consumer Affairs Victoria may be able to help.
Insurance repairs
Where an insurer authorised and is paying for a repair, the insurer's own processes may also apply to warranty and complaints. Your consumer guarantee rights still apply to our work.
